Hi there! Today we’ll be taking a look at some of the strongest animals in the world. The first one is the African Bush Elephant. It can carry 9,000 kilograms! These giants are the strongest animals on the planet. They are widely known for their trunks which can lift 300 kilograms.
Next up is the gorilla. (Please don’t mistake these giants for overgrown monkeys) They come from the ape family. And can lift up to 2,000 kilograms. That is 10 times their weight! These animals are known for their expertise in climbing trees. That is why they have arms up to 2.5 meters long!
ROAR! After the gorilla comes the tiger. These animals might look cute and cuddly, but don’t be fooled. They are the largest of all the cat species in the world. They have powerful jaws and strong, fast legs. They can carry up to twice the times their body weight! They can also climb trees while doing it.
Watch out! Here comes the king of the forest. Grizzly bears are widely known for their humungous size and strength. They live near forests where people camp, therefore, you must have heard about grizzlies attacking people before. When you encounter one, avoid eye contact and slowly back away. Even though it’s hard, don’t try to run. This aggravates them and make them want to charge at you.
We’ve talked about animals on the land, big cats, and big bears. But now it’s time for us to talk about this big bird! Say hello to the Eagle. This is an impressive animal, for it can fly while carrying preys that are nearly 4 times it’s body weight! Imagine running around at 10 miles per hour with 4 of you on your back. Yup! It’s that powerful. These birds fancy preys like wildcats and foxes.
Next up is an animal that is not talked about as much as these other animals on the list, but just as impressive. The Oxen has been around for 6,000 years! It went all the way back helping people in the farms, and towing wagons. They might look a bit like cows but these animals are much stronger.
The last animal I will be talking about today is the only reptile on this list. Say hello to the one and only Anaconda! An anaconda is a terrifying sight once came upon. It can eat preys up to their own size! They constrict wild pigs, and sometimes even jaguars! This way, they can go up for MONTS without eating. There are 4 species of these snakes. And the largest one being the green anaconda. In fact, the largest snake in the world happened to be a green anaconda named Medusa.
